Who We Are:

People With a Common Identity

We are a group of people who share a common hope in Jesus Christ. Our hope is based on what Jesus accomplished when He died on the cross and rose again from the grave. Because of His sacrifice every one who believes in Him becomes a member of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27).

People With a Common Purpose

We are called by God to share this good news about Jesus Christ with others. These include our families, our friends, our co-workers, and anyone who will listen (Matthew 28:18-20).

We are also called by God to grow in maturity in Christ. The best environment for growth is the local church. By becoming involved in the local church we are able to mature as we learn from one another, love one another, and serve one another (Ephesians 4:11-16).

People Just Like You!

We probably share many of the same dreams. We desire happy marriages, good kids, meaningful friendships, secure futures, etc. We have found that being a part of the body of Christ is God’s plan for experiencing the reality of these dreams. Life isn’t always perfect, but it can be joyful (Matthew 7:24-25).

Why We Are Here:

Proclaiming Christ

Trinity Baptist has been commissioned by Christ to proclaim the message of good news to others. We exist to glorify God through sharing the gospel message with our world. We do this through personal evangelism, missions, and the public preaching of the Word (Matthew 28:16-20).

Preparing Believers

We have also been called to prepare believers for greater service to Christ. Our ministries are all geared for the purposes of evangelism and edification. Together  we seek to honor our Lord as we encourage one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Trinity Baptist is here in your neighborhood to proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and then to disciple followers of Christ to be more like Him.

What We Believe:

About God

We believe that God exists and that He has revealed Himself to people through the Bible and creation itself (Hebrews 11:6; Romans 1:20).

We believe that God is one and that God exists eternally in three persons (Deuteronomy 6:4). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit form the trinity.

About the Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and that as such it is free from error in the original manuscripts (2 Timothy 3:16).

We believe that the Bible is God’s method of preserving His communication to His creation so that they might know Him and in knowing Him they would glorify Him (Ephesians 1:12-14)

All of our concerns and problems are dealt with either directly or through principles within the Bible. God’s Word truly is our rule for everyday living.

About the Church

The Church is the body of Christ, and Christ is the Head of the body (Ephesians 5:29-30). The Church is composed entirely of those who have been redeemed by Christ.

The local church is an assembly of believers who meet together regularly for the purpose of worship, instruction, edification, evangelism and observance of the ordinances (Acts 2:41-47).

About Ourselves

We are all born with a terminal disease called sin (Romans 3:23). The tragedy of sin is that it separates us from the love of God. On our own we are helpless and even unable to do anything about this terrible problem (Romans 3:11, 5:6-8).

We cling to the promise of God’s Word that when we place our faith in Christ then His sacrifice atones for our sins (Romans 6:22-23). When we come to faith in Christ we become children of God and welcome members of His family (Ephesians 1:5).
